April 5- Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle

Today we took the day and visited the Paris Muséum National d'Histoire Naturrelle (National Museum of Natural History).  There is a group of museums, that make up the museum.

First we started at the Menagerie. I was surprised with this zoo. I wasn't expecting such a great zoo in Paris.

Then we went to the Palaeontology museum. Tons of skeletons and preserved organs from thousands of animals on the first floor. Dinosaurs on the second floor. Fossilized plants and sea life on the third floor. This was super cool.

Then the "official" Museum of Natural History" this was by far the most amazing museum we have ever been in. It is three floors of taxidermy. There is even a wing with extinct/ nearly extinct animals. Some of the specimens have been in the museum since it opened nearly 400 years ago.
