April 12- Notre Dame

Today I took a trip into Paris, and wandered around the Notre Dame/ Louvre area with Lucy. It was super busy as tourist season has started. I swear I heard more people speaking English than French.

Notre Dame Catherdral

The "love locks" these are scattered all over Paris.
The idea:
You write your names on a lock and lock it to the bridge and throw the key into the Seine.
The reality:
They are ugly, boards have been put up to try and stop people from doing it. It doesn't work, and the boards are a nice canvas for awful graffiti. the extra weight on the bridges is causing problems, people throwing the keys into the river is screwing with the river. Long story short, don't do it.

The Seine.

Lucy enjoying the train trip home. TECHNICALLY, she is supposed to be in a carrier. I care about as much about the rule as the bus drivers and transit cops do.
