March 31

Today was unbelievably windy, and apparently will be until tomorrow. Because of this I wasn't able to wander to far from home to get some pictures, I was truly a little terrified that Lucy would blow away! There is perhaps a canine theme to this post.

Hello!

In between wind gusts...

Here comes the wind!!

This is the dog that lives on the bottom floor of our building. We have no idea what his name is but we call him Wayne Newton. Naming credit goes to Mr. Ian McCalder.

I always enjoy my walk to the grocery store. Today I took some pictures!

Succulents by our apartment

Fountain by the store.

Stairs down to the store.

The first time I saw daffodils growing I was so shocked. For some reason I never think of daffodils as something that just grows... I don't know why.

March 29

Today was gloomy, and rainy all day. We didn't go very far from home mainly because Lucy gets all NOPE in the rain.

Here are some shots of some wet plants outside of our building and a beautiful gazebo that I walk past three or four times a day when taking Lucy out.

March 28

Today started out gloomy an rainy but turned into a beautiful day! We took advantage of this and took a walk to one of the parks in our neighbourhood, Parc de la Valée aux Loups.

On our way to the park we found this door, which is an entrance to the Maison Moulin Fidel (http://www.plessis-robinson.com/decouvrir-la-ville/visitez-le-plessis-robinson/patrimoine-bati-du-plessis-robinson/moulin-fidel.html)

This park reminded me a lot of home and the area of the ravine that is a block away from my parents house

March 27

The suburb that we live in south of Paris is super cute. As I mentioned before it is covered in flowers. There is also a pond system that runs through the suburb. Most of it is about a block away from us. Lucy and I took a walk through some of it today.

There are often ducks in this part of the pond. Not today :(

I love this little waterfall.

I think these are some kind of lilac. They smelled amazing.

Always remember to take time to smell the flowers!

March 26

One thing in France I will never get used to is the architecture. Most of the buildings are just so old and surprisingly well kept considering their age. I often find myself wondering: what was the building originally built for? Who used to live in that house? Here are a couple of houses in a neighbouring suburb, Clamart, that I found particularly interesting.

March 25

Spring has sprung! The suburb we live in loves covering every thing with flowers all year. Spring has brought a beautiful assortment of crocuses, daffodils, and pansies. Pictured are some of the crocuses lining the sidewalks.

Lucy is enjoying the spring and the sunlight.
